about

In June 2018 we self-produced and released our first EP “Look Out! The Alligators Are Running”. A year later we released our second EP “Look Out! The Alligators Are Dead” in collaboration with Garage Records and Rocketman Records.
Until 2020 we had played more than 50 gigs in clubs, venues and festivals in north and central Italy and got good feedbacks by international independent magazines and radios.

In April 2021 we entered Matt Bordin’s Outside Inside Studio to record our first album “LAP”. In terms of sound, “LAP” is Liverpool Alligator Park’s essence: fast, catchy and straightforward tracks.

When we were writing the album, we really listened to anything. Jazz, Blink 182, anything that could get us excited. We went completely out of our bubble to figure out who we really were as a duo, as musicians.

Sounds are natural, rough. Vibes are garage rock n roll, sometimes retro, sometimes absolutely not. We only used a guitar and drums, just like a live show. All the tracks were recorded in real time, we just overdubbed a few further guitars.

Lyrics are as usual very blunt and where you are not hit by pragmatics, you will be hit by irony. They talk about the world and the realities a guy in his late 20s faces constantly in these weird times, among pandemic and precarious jobs.
